Life isn't going to slow down, I need to figure out how to keep up.  Lots of very exciting things have been happening around here. I am going to start from May 2012 because it was an exciting month.

May 16th Madison got her 1st real haircut.

 Mike was baptized a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on May 19, 2012!  I had always hoped that he would choose to become a member of the Gospel but, thought that it was going to be because of something horrific happening (I know awful, huh?) Mike chose my brother Mark to preform the baptism.  My mom came into town from Arizona.  We are so grateful for all of our wonderful friends and family that have been so supportive!

May 21st my Mom, Mark, my kids and myself drove down to San Antonio, Texas for Mark's Medical School graduation.  Mark and his family had lived there for 4 years and were in the process of moving out of their home.  The 1st couple of days we all stayed at their house.  Once they packed their moving truck we all stayed at a rental home in San Antonio.  Mike flew in for Mark's graduation on May 24. 

May 25th we went to a neat children's Museum and had lunch at a BBQ restaurant.

May 27th my brother Mark walked in his Medical School Graduation!  It was such a happy and exciting day!

We took the scenic route back to Iowa. Our first stop was at The Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch in San Antonio, TX on May 28.  It was really neat to get to have such an experience. After we left the Ranch we drove to Oklahoma and stopped for a night of rest.

May 29 we drove to Kansas for lunch at the Golden Corral.  We were all looking forward to trying out the chocolate fountain, it was pretty good.  We then drove to the Kansas City, Missouri Temple to enjoy it without the crowds.

After the Temple we drove to the David Traylor Zoo in Emporia, Kansas. It is a free zoo and pretty too!

After the days adventures we drove to Des Moines and spent the night in a hotel.  


May 30th we spent the day at Adventure Land in Des Moines.
