Michael's getting pretty brave on the little rock walls, this one was at the Iowa Children's Museum in Coralville. We went and had fun there with our friends the Halls on
Friday Aug. 1st.

Grace enjoyed pushing around a shopping cart just her size in the grocery store.

So did Michael

Grace got bored sitting in the stroller while we did artwork in the art center, she figured out how to take off her shirt and didn't keep it on until we left

After we were done at the ICM we went to Hobby Lobby, Grace crashed!

We got to have a little family vacation to Des Moines on the weekend of August 9th-11th.On the 9th, we went to the Iowa State Fair. We started out the day looking at all the livestock ie cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, horses of all size, that was my favorite part. We then ate lunch and then the boys went on some rides. Then we were all done with the fair and went back to the campsite. We borrowed Mike's dad's truck and camper and stayed at a KOA camp ground.
We got to pet a 6 or 8 day old calf

This calf was only 2 days old, I felt so bad for it's mom for not having any recoup time after having her baby. Oh, and I also felt bad for so many of those poor cows being so engorged, it made me happy that I am done nursing.

When we got back to the camp ground we hung around the camp fire and made friends with the neighboring campers and cooked smores.

Grace enjoyed playing Goldilocks and tried out every chair she could scoot in to

Sunday the 10th the boys fished at the little pond at the campground and us girls cleaned up the trailer a bit.

Grace and I walked down to the pond to give the boys some waters and she enjoyed scaring us by falling down the hill and almost into the pond.

When the boys were all fished out we drove to each of the remaining Bridges of Madison county, there are 6 now but, there used to be 19 if you want to learn more about them check it our here:

On August 12th, we went to a local favorite for the kids, The Play Station. It is like a gigantic play place that you would find in a fast food restaurant, we went with the Lee's and the Hall's from church
