April 2012



April started rough
Mike broke his right leg on April 7 during our church basketball tournament.

He left the ER with a boot, crutches, and orders to visit a orthopedic surgeon when the swelling went down.

April 8th was Easter.  We spent Easter in Marengo with Mike's family

Michael had his 10 Birthday and 4th grade musical on April 10


April 12 Michael had his friend Birthday Party

Michael chose to have an all red Star Wars cake.  Red is his favorite color.

 April 13 was Grace's 5th Birthday.  She wanted to start the day out with a princess bubble bath.

 April 17 Grace had her friend Birthday Party.  She too wanted a Chuck E Cheese party
William, Brynlee, Ben Grace, Riley, and Reagan

5 already! 

It was a beautiful day so after we dropped friends off we played at the play ground.





April 20 Grace had Kindergarten round up.

April 21st we visited the Kansas City, Missouri visitor's center and went to the Kansas City Temple open house with our friends the Peterson's. If you would like more information about LDS temples here is a link http://www.ldschurchtemples.com/kansascity/

April 27th the girls and I met out friends the Quillins at Coral ridge for some fun.

The evening of the 27th a family from our Ward The Allison's invited us to a scavenger hunt for clues at our local mall.  It was a blast!
