Did you know that Manchester, Iowa has a zoo?

On Memorial Day, May 31st, we took a gander out to Manchester to check it out... It was a neat experience and the cost was low (adults $5, kids 4 and up $3.)  In this zoo they have snakes, an alligator, an ostrich, turkey's, baby wolves, a panther, leopards, a bobcat, capybaras, lemurs, monkey's, tigers, a lion, black bears, llamas, alpaca's, sheep, cows, goats, horses, ponies, and many more that we can't remember.  It is a small space and I am sad for the animals but, at least they have a home right?  We most enjoyed feeding the bears, goats, horses and cows.

Mike kept telling the kids to feed the ostrich and they said no way.  Mike tried and the ostrich took a bit out of Mike's hand, lol.

I don't know if you can see this but, the cow is licking Grace.  When Grace was a couple months old we were at a petting zoo and I was near a cow and it started licking Grace's tiny little ankle.  I guess Grace is our cow whisperer, lol.

At least with smaller cages you can actually see the animals. We love the zoo.
