Our trip to Minnesota for spring break 2008

Here are some more pictures from Minnesota.

Here Grace is taking a splishy- splashy in the sinky? Sounds weird, huh? Well at my Grandma's you shower in the basement or... take a splishy splashy in the sinky. 3/15/08

Naturally, after that splishy-splashy she has to have a good night bottle from her Grandpa Johnson who she met for the 1st time today. 3/15/08

Each night Michael and his Grandpa Johnson fed the deer. 3/16/08

Here is the view out of the kitchen window. There were 3 deer this day. 3/16/08

Michael's ready to get down in the snow (we only brought his jacket thinking the snow would be mostly gone but, not so. So Grandpa went out and got him some much needed snow gear, Thanks Grandpa Johnson.) 3/17/08

Michael is ready to ride. 3/17/08

Michael's holding on tight and ready to go with Grandpa Johnson. 3/17/08

And they are off. 3/17/08

On Monday night we went and had dinner in Chisholm with Bob and Jo. They have some new baby puppies, not really but, they love their dogs. 3/17/08

Jo, Bob, and the babies. The dinner was so yummy! Thanks for having us, it was so great to see you guys. 3/17/08

My great-great aunt Mae (my grandpa's aunt) 3/18/08

He loved the kids. 3/18/08

The new nightly ritual, Great Grandma Johnson feeding Grace her goodnight bottle. 3/18/08

My good friend Rolene. We finally got to see each other and have a nice visit on Wednesday the 19th.

Michael was trying to pose us. He even had the idea that we should kiss... we are good friends but, I DON'T THINK SO! 3/19/08

Michael got to help Grandpa Johnson drive the bobcat and clean up the snow, lucky boy. 3/19/08

Give us a couple more days and this might have turned into his daily chore. 3/19/08

I finally got to go snowmobiling too. It was tons of fun... til I fell off. Long story short snowmobiles are neat and the snow underneath them can be very deep, and it hurts to run back to the snowmobile. 3/19/08

Michael got to be king of the snow hill. Isn't he so handsome? 3/19/08

It seems that every time we try to make snow men, the snow isn't right. So these were our pitiful teeny, tiny snowmen. We even made our family. 3/19/08

Grandpa Johnson on our last night, with Grace. 3/19/08

My cousin Bobbi Jo holding Grace. Her and I are only a couple months apart so we used to be best buds. 3/19/08

Me, Michael, Grandpa Johnson, and Grace on our last night. At this point in time I had already fallen off the snowmobile. I survived just fine. 3/19/08

Good bye 1st thing Thursday morning. 3/20/08

Good bye Minnesota, hello Iowa! My bed has never felt so good. 3/20/08
