Grace's 1st year of life thus far...

Here is Grace's 1st year of life thus far..... Grace was right on time as far as arrival's. She was born April 13th, 2007, Friday the 13th. She weighed 7 pounds 2 oz. and was 19 and 1/4 inches.


She was crying and letting us know she was here ready or not as they pulled her out (via c-section.)

Grace was such a wonderful surprise, we were told that we might not ever be able to have anymore children and that Michael was a fluke. Because she was such a surprise we waited to meet her before we found out what she was.
We are so happy that we got a girl so we could have one of each and if it never happens again we will know the joy of raising both a boy and a girl.



It seemed Michael and Grace hit it off pretty quick too. The 1st chance he got to get right in there and meet his sister he took it and ran with it. It was so sweet, she lit up at his voice.



Grandma and Grandpa Matheny even came all the way from Arizona to meet the newest arrival and to help out too. You guys are the best!

That evening with most of the people that were in her circle. Grandpa Matheny, Uncle Chuck, Great Grandpa Matheny, and Uncle Mark. Not pictured are Dave Richards and Bishop Bailey. Note: Uncle Larry was not in the circle but, we know he would have been if we asked, I forgot and now feel really bad about it. I guess it slipped my mine having a new baby and all.

It's has been a great 10 months having our baby girl! Time has flown by, to think in 2 months she will be 1 years old! WOW!

As I was preparing this post I realize we have a ton more digital photo's of Grace due to the fact that we have a good digital camera now. It doesn't mean anything other than that.
