We are home

Saturday, the start of our vacation. (Michael's asthma started flaring up really bad on Thursday the day before we went on vacation, hence the reason we were in Walmart doing a breathing treatment at 5 am on Saturday.)

This is a picture of a mosquito eater thingee, Michael wanted me to take a picture of it.

Later on that day we went to St. Louis, Missouri and visited the Arch. They had some really neat architecture there.

A statue of Lewis and Clark, it was actually IN the Mississippi River

I am so blessed to have the most wonderful husband for me! He is so great at planning fun vacations like this and is such a great man!

Some very neat facts about the Arch can be found by clicking on this link. http://www.gatewayarch.com/Arch/info/arch.fact.aspx

While waiting for our tour of the Arch to begin we had some tired kiddo's (since they were up since 5 am this morning.) I guess Daddy had the magic touch to get them to sleep.

Grace slept on the ride all the way up, this thing is over 600 feet tall and she slept all the way up.

When we got to the top she was still out, she's our little power napper.

The cool sights that you can see from the Arch.

The Mississippi River

A tug boat pushing barges down the Mississippi River

They all loved the view

We had some pooped out kids so we went back to the camp site to take a nap. They slept well.

Then they played hard

Grace really liked playing with the rocks

Our home for the weekend ( the front and back both pop out and they are large beds.) We are grateful that Mike's dad let us borrow it, thanks Dad!

We don't have a whole lot for pictures of Sunday as it rained hard most of the day. We did try to go to the Science Center (it was full) and the Zoo which was also full and then it started pouring once we got turned away due to capacity issues. We ended up going to Babies R' Us and the St. Louis Mills mall. We had fun and made the best of our vacation.

This is a picture of Michael trying to hide from the thunder, it was so loud. The whole weekend it rained but, Sunday and Monday were really bad. There was a thunder storm warning in effect as well as a tornado watch. I don't think the weather wanted us outside on our camping adventure.

Monday, we don't know how Grace kept sleeping during the storm that was going on but, she did. We had to pack everything up at this point. There was about 4 inches of water around the trailer and it was leaking so, we figured it was time to go home. That was fun, closing everything up in the thick of the rain and trudging through the water.... (we left the kids in the trailer and worked as a team to get the work done, so it was kind of like a date.)

She loves her big brother so much!

Michael is so proud of his new dance, it is like stomp, I think, it's pretty funny!

Something is different about Grace, do you know what it is? (If you magnify the picture you can see teeth 9 and 10 coming in, on the bottoms.)

Yes, I know I can't believe I did it either. I was so sick of everyone saying what a cute little guy I had and she won't keep bows or headbands in anymore so hopefully the earrings will help them figure it out. I also hope that they don't get infected like mine always did when I wore earrings.
