Kansas City, Kansas

May 1st we drove to Kansas City, Kansas with Mike's dad, Jim and his travel trailer. We drove there to attend the funeral of Uncle Donald. On the 2nd, was the funeral, it was wonderful to get to know Uncle Don through all the beautiful tributes, memories, and stories that were shared at the funeral. He seemed like a great guy and I am looking forward to meeting him on the other side! On the 3rd we drove to downtown Kansas City and visited the Children's Museum and the Train Station and ate some good BBQ. Then, on the 4th we headed back home and got settled back into life in a house.

I'm sorry for yours and Mike's loss!! It does sound like you were able to include some family time into this trip! I can't believe how Grace just looks like a big girl! And I'm impressed that there quite a few photos with her hair up!! YAY!!! Fun to catch up with you guys!! :)

Always sad when you hear about a funeral. Sorry for the loss. BTW, love the pics of the kids, especially the one near the tree.

I agree hahaha (kason & Grace) Those were ants carrying in sacks of something? Not maggots--- I would have been so grossed out if it were!!!
